ISATT Springer book series – Call for Chapters

We’re delighted to share a call for chapter abstracts for an upcoming edited volume: Teaching in Uncertain Times: Rethinking Teacher Education for Sustainable Futures, to be published by Springer in collaboration with the International Study Association on Teachers and Teaching (ISATT).

At a time when educators are navigating increasing uncertainty across social, environmental, political, and technological domains, this volume seeks to create a space for critical dialogue about the future of teaching and teacher education. We are particularly interested in work that explores how teacher education can contribute to more sustainable, equitable, and democratic futures.

We warmly invite scholars, teacher educators, practitioners, policymakers, doctoral researchers, and others engaged in educational research and practice to consider contributing. We are especially keen to attract a diverse range of international perspectives and innovative approaches that challenge existing assumptions and open new possibilities for the field.
